Reservations at Hyde Park Bar & Grill

As it turns out, you actually can teach an old dog new tricks.

Old Dog Learns How To Take Reservations

After almost 30 years in business, we’ve added a new trick to our repertoire:  We’re now taking reservations on a selected basis.

(“Selected basis?”  What do we mean by that?)

You see, it’s important to us to continue to be able to accommodate our many customers who come into the restaurant in a completely spontaneous fashion.   The walk-ins, the free spirits, the whimsters, the people who just up and say “hey, let’s go to Hyde Park Bar & Grill” on the spur of the moment.   We can’t let those folks down by having every table reserved.

But for our friends who like to plan ahead, we’re now making selected tables available for reservations.

Reservations at Hyde Park Bar & Grill:

  1. Call or click on these links to reserve at Central (Duval) or South (Westgate).
  2. Reserve your table.   We save the exact number of seats you enter — no more, no less.  And we’ll hold the table for you for up to 15 minutes after your reservation time.
  3. NOTE:  If a reservation is not available, there are tables available on a first come, first serve basis.   Feel free to inquire about walk-in table availability and whether there is an expected wait time.

An Austin Fried Chicken Sampler (Hint: Try Ours)

“At Hyde Park Bar & Grill, fried chicken has turned the restaurant world’s slowest nights into an occasion.

On Mondays and Tuesdays, Tony Herring pays homage to the chicken that anchored his Tony’s Southern Comfort restaurant until it closed in 2007. And while Herring boils the oil at the West Gate Boulevard location, his brother Dwayne keeps an eye on Tony’s legacy at the Duval Street shop…”
