Last time Tony Airoldi played at Bluesday Tuesday, he’d stopped by to sit in with his long-time friend Steve Carter.

Tony Airoldi plays a mean guitar
It sounded so good nobody wanted him to leave and it made for a most memorable evening.
This time around, Tony’s back as the featured guest and we suspect friend Steve Carter may return the favor and sit in, or any of Tony’s long-time musical pals from Austin (as one might expect for musician who was once a member of the Armadillo World Headquarters’ house band).
His current location on the musical highway finds Tony at a place influenced strongly by Djano Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. Not a bad duo to be hanging out with musically.
Come hear Tony, Jimi Lee and who knows whoever else the winds bring in on Tuesday, Sept 7.

Okay Hyde Parkers, it’s time for another new face and sound! Accompanying Jimi Lee on Tuesday is Whitey Conwell. Jimi’s just one of those guys with a sixth sense for who’s good and who you oughta know.

Whitey Conwell plays a lot of instruments. But not all at once.
Richard Meltzer of the San Diego Reader says Whitey’s “…an ace of a blues/rock/rockabilly guitarist, Whitey sings/speaks/croaks with a voice from the timeless land of cigareets (sic) and whiskey, and at least the memory of wild, wild wimmen (sic)…”. Life – The daily Dose informs his every move, gives even his rigor a flexibilty, a subtle nuance, a shading.”
Sounds good to us. Just one question: Did his mamma name him “Whitey?” You’ll have to come to the show to find out!

For many of you Hyde Parkers, this could either be the very end of your summer or the first day of the new school year. But don’t fret! You can still enjoy great live music, tasty food, and weather that will take you away from all your current troubles!

Jimi Lee: An Old Favorite
Jimi Lee is back for Bluesday Tuesday and he’s bringing his famous “tools of his trade” with him. With a case full of harmonicas, an acoustic guitar and an abundant amount of humor, Mr. Jimi Lee is enjoyable for all. Are you ready to be impressed? Hyde Park is fortunate enough to have a VERY talented musician coming to play for Bluesday Tuesday on August 10th! Is your interest peaked? We thought so.

Mark At County Line. Photo credit to Shawna Malone
His name is Mark Campbell and he does practically everything with master skill. Whether it’s blues, country, or even Latin music, he plays with conviction and soul on his guitar or piano. He started Soulshaker after highschool but has lately been playing weddings. However he still strives for that elusive sound , the ultimate goal of making music “magic”.

Although summer may be ending soon, it doesn’t mean you’ve run out of great things to do! If you are looking for something to spice up a regular ole Tuesday night, it’s time to be introduced to a “killer” duo. On August 8th, Bluesday Tuesday will take on a whole new meaning of “soulful blues”.

Ben Steven performing his blues
Ben Stevens is no rookie when it comes to music, in fact you may have heard him in Bleecker St., one of Colorado’s most acclaimed blues bands which he actually started!
Not only is Ben a fantastic guitarist, he also has something which is becoming excedingly rare: Heart. Ben puts heart into his music because that’s what makes it blues. That’s what makes him a true artist.
Check out the link below, and we’re convinced we’ll see you on August 8th…Ben Steven’s music speaks for itself.

Jimi Lee featuring Jessie Bradley Jr. will be performing Tuesday with the blues. However you may ask yourself, “what makes this a good show worth driving out for?”
A good show consists of a couple things…

Jessie Bradley Jr. performing soon!
1. Are they entertaining? Jessie Bradley Jr. and Jimi Lee are both not only amazing muscians, but they also have light hearted, fun loving natures.
2. Are they good performers as well as musicians? Jimi Lee’s personality shines through his music which is known to “turn heads”. His talent, paired with J. Bradley’s ability to “rip the Saxophone” provide great entertainment to all.
3. Is there good food to go along with the good music? Welcome to the Hyde Park Bar and Grill. Good food is the very foundation of our business!
Besides, when’s the last time you heard great sax?

Well, darn. Our patio just doesn’t work when it’s raining. And as of 4:30pm today, they’re showing high probability of drenching rain for our Westgate location.
It’s beats the 2 year drought, we suppose.
But it stinks that we won’t have our Bluesday Tuesday with Mr. Donny Silverman.
We’ll get him back, we hope!
We have a new face among the musicians at Hyde Park! Donny Silverman, from Noisetet, is gracing our ears for the first time alongside Jimi Lee.

Donny playin' the blues on his Saxophone
Donny Silverman is a talented musician whose skills range from the saxophone to the flute. He’s played with such artists as The Temptations, The Cobras and even started his own band: The Noisetet.
Jimi Lee and Donny Silverman will be rockin the building with soulful blues that will speak to the soul. This show is one that you don’t want to miss!
