Every Sunday from 7 to 9 we host Sunday Swing and we are more than lucky to have some of the best swing bands in the area come play.
On Sunday, April 25, the band is The Jitterbug Vipers, one of our all-time favorites. (And see above what else is happening that night!)
“No bad notes” is the mantra of this swingin’ set, led by Slim “the Most Dangerous Guitarist” Richey with the effervescent Meaux Jeaux on bass, usually Masumi Jones on the skins, and also some of the area’s top jazz singers and players — this week it’ll be Gaila Kenneally with special guest Katie Holmes on fiddle!
The thing about the Vipers, tho, is you never know who else will show up, because everybody loves to play with these cool cats.

And there really is dancing — from the teens & twenties set to the couples that have clearly been dancing duos for years — there’s room to move and party lights to set the mood. No formal cover, just give a “love offering” to the band to keep them coming back!
SPECIAL NOTE: The Lindy Project will perform on Sunday, April 25! Watch for them during the band’s break.
